Dwarfs, Dwarfs, Dwarfs @ 2,250pts ??!?

Getting advice left right and centre at the moment and still struggling to make some adjustments to my Dwarf list from NATCON. Difficulties abound...
- Anvil or Lord?
- 2 characters or 3+?
- 2 or 3 units of shooters?
- 3 or 4 blocks of infantry?
- Which warmachines?
- How extreme do I go?

Two lists so far

LIST ONE - STUBBORN GUNLINE

Lord
w. MR Steel, RO Resistance, RO Stone, GW, MR Challenge, RO Furnace

1+ rerollable AS, Enemy attacks restricted to S5

Runesmith
w. Shield, RO Stone, RO Spellbreaking x2, RO Furnace

5DD & 2 Scrolls

BSB
w. RO Cleaving x2, RO Fire, MR Gromil, RO Furnace, Oath Stone

Oath Stone gives cheap MR1 and helps when surrounded

Warriors w.Shields x10

Warriors w.Shields x10

Quarrellers w.Shields x10

Hammerers x20
w. FC, Shields, RO Battle, RO Stoicism

Hammerers x19 (BSB)
w. FC, Shields, RO Courage

Hammerers x18 (Lord)
w. FC, Shields, RO Battle, RO Sanctuary

3 units of Stubborn infantry all with WS5 S4 T4 all have +1CR from either RO Battle or BSB, 2 have MR1 and the other is double unit strength.

Bolt-Thrower
w. Engineer, RO Penetrating, RO Burning

Bolt-Thrower
w. Engineer, Ro Burning

Organ Gun

Organ Gun

TOTAL 2,249

Shooting phase is 50/50 dual Organ Guns are powerful, as are 2 Bolt-Throwers but I only have 1 shooting unit of 10 Quarrellers. 3 Stubborn units will be a pain in the butt for anybody.

LIST TWO - BALANCED ANVIL

Runelord
w. Anvil of Doom, RO Stone, MR Balance, RO Spellbreaking x2

7DD (6 for Lord +1 from enemy PD pool) & 2 scrolls

BSB
w. MR Gromil, RO Cleaving, RO Furnace, MR Challenge

Longbeards x20
w. Shields, SB, Mu, RO Courage

Warriors x20
w. Shields, SB, Mu

Thunderers x10 w. Shields

Quarrellers x10 w. Shields

Quarrellers x10 w. Shields

Hammerers x20
w. Shields, SB, Mu, RO Courage, RO Stoicism

Miners x10

Bolt-Thrower
w. Engineer, RO Penetrating

Organ Gun

Gyrocopter

TOTAL 2,246 pts

More conventional shooting giving 30 shots per phase + organ gun, gyro and Bolt-thrower but only 3 infantry units. Two characters is a risk particularly if BSB goes South but then again taking 3 or 4 often makes little or no difference if your army is constantly outnumbered.

Limited in my choices by model collection *sigh* - will have to try something out next week.

One weakness that stands out in this list is you have nothing with a range greater than 48". Which means if you face an Empire or Dwarf gunline with cannons, your opponent could win an artillery duel and leave your blocks open to panic.

Or even worse, if he's Empire with both guns and horse, he could set up outside of range of your heavy guns, destroy them at his leisure, then close with knights.

I'd look for a way to add a grudge thrower to prevent this from coming up. But that's just me.
